Lace Mamba Global announced today that Grotesque Tactics 2, successor to the critically-acclaimed PC RPG parody hit, will be making a retail release in the form of Grotesque Tactics Collection. The collection is a two-game bundle of both Grotesque Tactics 1 and Grotesque Tactics 2, packaged in a special edition box. The retail price is set at £19.99 and will be hitting retail shelves in the UK and Ireland March 2, 2012.

Grotesque Tactics 2: Dungeons & Donuts was developed by the German studio Silent Dreams. The story begins as citizens of hte Kingdom of Glory celebrate their victory in the catacombs of their former enemies. The party is disturbed by an all-encompassing fog, engulfing the party-goers and causing them to vanish. Those that manage to escape to the darker and deeper depths of the catacombs find themselves with low supplies and the feeling of hopelessness. The survivors, Knights of Glory, mercenaries, and the arrogant high elves band into guilds and try their hand at fighting for food and supplies, as well as a way to escape. Their constant bickering makes them ignorant to the awakening of evil dark forces in the dungeons below, and the real challenge begins.

Grotesque Tactics 2 introduces a lot of new content to the saga, with new graphical style, new character creation and levelling system, as well as quest logs and a new storyline that involves the cast from the original Grotesque Tactics game.
